Nick’s Kids Show
Nick is a Worth County Fair staple. Kids will be raving about his interactive performances Wednesday at 6 and 8 PM, and three times a day at 3:30, 5:30, and 7:30 Thursday – Saturday, and Sunday at 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30.
Polka Dot Entertainment
Peter & Penelope have been entertaining audiences for nearly 20 years. This duo is a master of all trades, bringing comedy, magic, juggling, balloons, stilts and death defying feats! You’ll find them Friday & Saturday from 12-9 PM roaming the fairgrounds and captivating audiences of all ages!
Hog Diggity Dog
Hog Diggity Dog is a one-of-a-kind attraction. It is a fast paced show running 25 minutes filled with tones of excitement, laughs, audience participation and lots of surprises. It is the very best animal act! Absolute entertainment at its best! Between shows (held Wednesday-Friday at 4:30 and 8, Saturday 11:30, 4:30 and 8, and Sunday 11:30, 2, and 4:30), the team will be offering camel rides for an additional cost.
Pretty Bird Paradise
Pretty Bird Paradise is a fun and educational interactive attraction. Interact and feed with these beautiful birds in a safe enclosed environment. Fun Fact: Most of the birds are rescue birds. Open Wednesday-Saturday 12-8pm and Sunday 10-6pm.
Glass Blowing Demonstrations
The mobile glassblowing experience brings the artistry and education of glass making beyond the studio walls to you Wednesday-Saturday 1-7pm and Sunday 10-4pm. Viewers will experience a multitude of information surrounding the lost art of glassblowing. Glass items will be placed up for silent action…watch AND take home your favorite pieces!
Ag Learning Center
NEW in 2022…the Donnie Moretz Memorial Kiddie Barn has been transformed into an Ag Learning Center for young and old alike! Stop in to check out chicks hatching daily, learn how to milk a cow, talk to a real life farmer every day from 11am-12pm to learn about the impact of the ag industry on your day to day life, and participate in different crafts, activities and games each day. The Kiddie Barn will be open 11-3pm and 4-8pm Wednesday-Saturday and 11-3pm Sunday.
If you missed them last year, you’re in luck! Brothers Walker is back to grace the stage of the shelter house. This dynamic duo doesn’t take themselves (or each other) too seriously and are a blast to watch on stage. Make sure to join them Sunday morning as well as they perform during the fair church service…you will not be disappointed! The Kensett Lions Club Bingo Stand is one of the longest-running staples of the Worth County Fair. Grab your friends, family, and find a seat! Bingo will be held Thursday – Sunday from 2pm until close.
Lions, tigers and bears…oh my! Those are just a few of the artfully painted creatures you’ll see roaming around the fair Friday and Saturday from 1-5pm. What painted look are you going to rock? All face painting will take place in the commercial building.
Spend time on the midway with rides for all ages!
Iowa Learning Farms and Water Rocks! present the Conservation Station—a mobile learning center houses a unique combination of highly visual and interactive Iowa-centric demonstrations that delve into the impacts of land management choices, both urban and agricultural, on water quality and the connections between our state’s water, soil, and wildlife. Conservation Station will be set up outside of the Shelter House on Saturday from 11 AM – 3 PM.
